Phoenix Halloween Celebration Costume Contest Rules
1. Winner will be BEST Costume. We are looking for the best costume ever worn on Halloween. Best Costume will be defined by Phoenix as anything that makes us roll on the floor laughing or scare us to death - whether the costume is worn by you, your child, or a furry, feathered, or scaled friend etc.
2. Must be original - no internet pics please...
Must be an adult, 18+
4. Winner is restricted to the US and Canada due to shipping
5. Only one person can be the winner (must be prepared to provide rl information)
There can be multiple submissions per person.
7. Information to be submitted privately to the admins and if posted (as agreed upon by everyone) it will be labeled for anonymity unless permission is given to release who submitted
Will be voted on by the Phoenix family
9. Submissions may be posted at the discretion of MBP and sent to Lara Adrian and her staff. All photos, ideas, and information submitted may be used by MBP at a future date

Kade: *Finally standing on a log next to the fire, holding his hands up in the air* I have collected all the forms, now sit down and shut up and enjoy the show *grins as the fire light starts to dim as if on command*
Gabrielle: *Winks at Niko* He is always near me brother.
Lucan: *turns and arches a brow at Smita*
Brock: *grumbles* about damn time.
Mary B: yes Kade sir *secretly throws a marshmallow at Kade*
Smita M: *Grins at Lucan, and very innocently starts toasting a marshmallow for s'mores*

Gideon: About time man
Mira: *sits next to Rennie, linking my arm in hers*
Kade: *kicks the marshmallow* Savy and Gid were driving through a wooded empty section of highway. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, the sky went dark in the torrential downpour. *in his best girl voice* “We’d better stop,” said Savy. Gid nodded his head in agreement. He stepped on the brake, and suddenly the car started to slide on the slick pavement. They plunged off the road and slid to a halt at the bottom of an incline.
Jessica H: *Ninja Kitty feels her friend Mirishikiari discomfort and comes back to comfort her*
Mirishikiari: *hugs Ninja Kitty*
Kade: Pale and shaking, Gid quickly turned to check if Savy was all right. When she nodded, Gid relaxed and looked through the rain soaked windows. *looks around at all the wide eyed faces surrounding the dimming fire*
Kade: “I’m going to see how bad it is,” he told Savy, and went out into the storm. *pauses for a moment* She saw his blurry figure in the headlight, walking around the front of the car.
Kade: *crouches down and sneaks behind Gabby and Lucan* A moment later, *pops up real quick behind them* he jumped in beside her, soaking wet.
Kade: “The car’s not badly damaged, but we’re wheel-deep in mud,” Gid said. “I’m going to have to go for help.” Savy swallowed nervously. There would be no quick rescue here. *moving back to stand on the log* He told her to turn off the headlights and lock the doors until he returned.
Gabrielle: *Clamping down on her mate as her heart races*
Mirishikiari: *shakes my head and whispers* No! No!
Gideon: *Rolling my eyes at Kade the drama lama*
Kade: Axe Murder Hollow. Although Gid hadn’t said the name aloud, they both knew what he had been thinking when he told her to lock the car. *winks at Mirishikiari* This was the place where a man had once taken an axe and hacked his wife to death in a jealous rage over an alleged affair. *swinging his pretend axe*
Savy: *hugs Gid a bit tighter*
Melissa L: *looks at Mirishikiari* Wrong move, man.
Kade: *speaking real low, almost in a whisper, the tips of his fangs flashing in the firelight* Supposedly, *raises his brows* the axe-wielding spirit of the husband continued to haunt this section of the road.
Smita M: *Nibbles on a s'more, holding on to my teddy bear*
Melissa L: *whispers* You NEVER leave the ladies behind.
Mirishikiari: *nods and whipsers* Never leave the carMelissa.
Mary B: holy crap *hides in her pillow*

Niko: Always beware of the couple having sex...you know they're the first to go

Kade: Outside the car, Savy heard a shriek, *squeezesMelissa's sides real fast* a loud thump, *stomps on the log* and a strange gurgling noise. ... BUT *pauses* she couldn’t see anything in the darkness.
Melissa L: So true, Niko.
Savy: *hugs Gideon* Babe he's scaring me and I know it didn't happen.
Melissa L: *Jumps by the squeeze* Oh,damn it!
Kade: *nodding at Niko and speaking much faster* Frightened, she shrank down into her seat. She sat in silence for a while, and then she noticed another sound. *long pause, as he looks at Carys before thumping his hand on the log* Bump. Bump. Bump. It was a soft sound, like something being blown by the wind.
Aric: *grins as Carys holds onto my arm. Waiting for just the right moment*
Celt: *Waves at Renata Breed* and holds up my delivery pack* I've come prepared.
Renata: ~jumping a little in Niko's lap, my heart rate speeds up, leaning a little forward as I clutch at Mira's hand, waving back at Celticnight hoping that I don't go into labor over this story~
Kade: SUDDENLY *jumps off the log, starling the females* the car was illuminated by a bright light.
Melissa L: *looks at Gideon* Thanks!
Kade: An official sounding voice told her to get out of the car. Gid must have found a police officer.
Carys: *Jumps and squeezes Arics arm*
Savy: *jumps in Gideon's arms*
Kade: *slowly slides over to where Savannah was sitting* Savy unlocked the door and stepped out of the car.
Kade: As her eyes adjusted to the bright light, *quickly turns around again, smirking* she saw it.
Mirishikiari: *moans* Oh Savy! *shaking my head*

Savy: *looks at Melissa* But I didn't...

Kade: Hanging by his feet from the tree next to the car was....

Gideon: *Torpedoing a ball back at Dia's head*
Kade: The last thing she saw was the glint of the axe blade in the eerie, incandescent light.
Mary B: *screams when a popcorn ball hits me*

Angela: *Stumbling out of my tent I yawn and stretch coming into contact with some silly string I mumble under my breath* crazy breed. *I break down the camp trying to avoid as much of the sticky crap as I can. I get everything out up so that all anyone has to do is grab their belongings and load up. As I had to my car I whisper under my breath* it is WAY too freaking early to head to work. But have a lovely day everyone! *smile and waves goodbye*
Mirishikiari: *Moaning in my sleep No no not Grams! I wake up just as she throws the oatmeal cookie like a ninja star towards Aric* One too many Smores! *stretching I head out of the tent into a sticky stringy mess. Squeeling I turn around trying to get away from it only to get caught in some more* Agh! *falling to the ground seems to be my only option. Rolling, then coming to a stop. Opening my eyes the camp is layered in silly string. Smdh* Brock? *laughing as I rise to try and wipe it off* Coffee! I need coffee. *pulling out my camp coffee pot and special sumatra brew I re-kindle the fire* I hope they don't mind. Need coffee! Angela? *noticing her car is gone* Oh lady you rock! *if not for the silly string the camp looked great. The coffee finally ready I raise my cup* To MB Phoenix! What an fabulous camp out!
